Vehicle testing

Laboratory for testing of mechanical properties, machines and vehicles in the area of vehicle testing carries tests on individual characteristics of the vehicles according to accredited procedures by certain harmonized standards and regulations. Also, it carries out tests of vehicle characteristics, their components systems and separate technical units in compliance with the methodology given in certain regulations, as by a methodology in accordance with the request of the client.

Accredited procedures:

• Testing according technical specification – TSV 104 with regard to the space for mounting and the fixing of rear registration plates on motor vehicles and their trailers
• Testing according technical specification TSV 118 with regard to statutory plates and markings, and their location and method of attachment
• Testing according technical specification – TSV 148 of vehicles with regard to their masses and dimensions
• Testing of the compatibility of the device for steering and brake of vehicles equipped with inertia (overrun) braking system according the regulation of the United Nations ECE R13.11 Annex 12 Part 10
• Testing according ECE Regulation 48.06 for trailers (category O) with regard to the installation of lighting and light signaling devices
• Testing according ECE Regulation 58.02 of:
• Rear underrun protective devices (RUPD)
• Vehicles with regard to the installation of an RUPD of an approved type
• Vehicles with regard to their rear underrun protection (RUP)
• Testing according the ECE Regulation 73.01 of:
• Vehicles with regard to their lateral protection devices (LPD)
• Lateral protection devices (LPD)
• Vehicles with regard to the installation of LPD of an approved type according to part II of ECE Regulation 73.01
• Testing according ECE Regulation 111.00 of tank vehicles of categories N and O with regard to rollover stability
• Testing according ECE Regulation 121.00 with regard to the location and identification of hand controls, tell-tales and indicators

Specific characteristic of the laboratory is the technical capacity and the capacity of the personnel working on expertise related to complex failures of vehicles, overload protection, acquiring data on workloads, determination of the optimal and the limit exploitation regimes, project development of altered and repaired vehicles and their testing, expert examinations, etc.

The laboratory has developed a strong capacity for modern methods of virtual testing.
